On March 05, in the House of Culture named after I. Zhansugurov with the participation of Deputy akim of the region M. Kulbayev, a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners and prize-winners of the regional stage of the Republican Olympiad for students of grades 9-11 (12) in general education subjects and the rural Olympiad was held. Кандид candidates of technical sciences, associate professors P. Akhmetova and G. Ashirbayev of the Academy of logistics and motor vehicles of Almaty were invited to the award ceremony. In addition, the head of the Department of Education M. Suleimenov, heads and senior methodologists of district (city) education departments, school principals who were awarded the title of "Best School" took part. A total of 415 students took part in the regional stage of the Republican Olympiad, 189 students became winners, 211 students took part in the Republican Olympiad for students of grades 9-11 of rural schools, 90 students took prizes. At the fourth Republican stage of the rural Olympiad in Astana, 40 students from Zhetysu region took part, 22 of them won prizes, and 5 students of Zhetysu region won the title of "best Olympic team-2024" in the overall team competition. In this regard, all the winners were awarded diplomas and prizes, and the award ceremony came to an end.
